More than 10 million head of cattle were driven here along the Chisholm Trail during the big open-range cattle drives of the late 19th century, when it originally gained notoriety. The storied Stockyards are now a popular tourist site, with the biggest honky-tonk in the world, Billy Bob's, as well as twice-daily mini-cattle drives and weekend rodeos.
In addition to Billy Bob’s, the Stockyards offers many other venues, with great Live Band variations of country music…… from Old School Country, to Texas Red Dirt, to Southern Rock, and to Today’s Hottest Country!
The Stockyards & Ft. Worth are home to many wonderfully authentic western fare restaurants, such as Lonesome Dove, Cattlemens, and H3 steak houses, along with some of the Best in Texas Dining, at 97 West !
Myself and my son’s band stayed the weekend while the band played at the Rhinestone! It was perfect and well appointed! Loved the kitchen- wish it was mine ❤️ David was very courteous and helpful throughout our stay. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
Awesome clean place, and right next to the stockyards! Would stay here again for sure.
The house was great it felt homey. Was super close to the Stockyards which was awesome that we could just walk. We would 100% stay again.
This place was clean, secure, spacious, and close to lots of fun activities. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again!!
We really enjoyed our stay. The place is lovely and David is a great host.

Home to more than 650 species from all over the world, totaling some 7,000 creatures of all different shapes, sizes, colors and origins in total, the sprawling (and at 26 hectares we don’t use that term lightly) Fort Worth Zoo is one of Texas’ great family attractions.
